2023 FAMC Scholarship Winner

Cade William Lagrone

Cade is a Senior at Reedy High School.  He is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honors Society and has received the Academic All State and Academic All Stars awards.  He has participated in football, baseball, Leadership Impact Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Youth Leadership Conference.

He has chosen to major in Construction Science.

Cade is the son of Brad ’97 and Melanie ’98 Lagrone. Whoop!

Cade is ready to call Aggieland home and we can’t wait to hear all about his time there!

 

 

 

2023 FAMC Spirit Award Winner

Owen Patrick Thompson

Owen is a Senior at Independence High School.  He has received the Faculty Choice Award, participated in the Visual Arts Scholastic Event and is in the National Honor Society.  He has played on the Frisco high school hockey team and even played for the Dallas Penguins for two years. Owen is excited to be a part of the Aggie Family and considers Aggieland his home away from home!

He has chosen to major in Statistics.

Owen is the grandson of Patrick Schreiber ’73, the son of Jeremy and Leah ’97 Thompson and sister of Emma Thompson ’25. Whoop!

2022 FAMC Scholarship Winner

Payton Reese Rodgers

Payton is a second generation Aggie and a Senior at Lebanon Trail High School.  She is a member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America), Best Buddies, Jr. Camp Counselor at Operation Kindness Animal Shelter and Co-founder of the Peyton Heart Project.  She has been inducted and been a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and the International Thespian Society. She has been awarded the Bronze, Silver and Gold Girl Scout Awards, Presidential Volunteer Award, FFA District talent Show winner, FFA Greenhand Degree, FFA Greenhand President and Best Supporting Actress.

She has chosen to double major in Agriculture Leadership and Pre- Veterinarian Medicine.

Payton is the daughter of Brian and Angela Nelson ’95 Rodgers. Whoop!

Olivia Lucille Mo

Olivia is a second generation Aggie and a Senior at Lone Star High School.  She is a member of the LSHS Marching Band, Wind Symphony and Drumline.  She has also been involved in HOSA (Future Health Professionals, Tri-M Music Society, Academic Decathalon, AAPI Student Union as Founder & President, Campus Crusade for Christ and Junior Frisco Women’s League.   She is a National Merit Finalist and has numerous 1st Place awards for Individual and Team competitions for LSHS Academic Decathalon State Competitions.

She has chosen to double major in Bioenvironmental Sciences and Environmental Geosciences. And also hopes to minor in Chemistry as well.

Olivia is the daughter of Ronald ’96 and Melissa ’98 Mo and the brother of Joshua Mo ’23. Whoop!

2021 FAMC Scholarship Winner

 

Emily Rose Daugherty

Emily is a Senior at Wakeland High School and is a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, ASL Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.  She has also received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.  She has participated in the National Charity League and is a youth leader at First United Methodist Church.

She has chosen to major in Education at Texas A&M and hopes to influence young students and make a difference in their lives just like her teachers did for her.

She is a second generation Aggie and has grown up with our traditions and attending Aggie games.

Emily is the daughter of Debbie ’99 and Brad ’98 & ’00 Daugherty and the niece of Craig Daugherty ’96. Whoop!
